Then perhaps I have other problems.  I just recompiled with the 1.0.7
tgz, stopped sks, cleandb'd, started sks.  Still no joy on the drop.
I'm running BDB v4.1.25 (Dec 2002).

Chris Kuethe of pgp.cns.ualberta.ca reported success, and he is
running v1.0.7.

If you think it would help, I can change the password on my "keyserv"
user and let you poke around in it.
