Glen and SWARM Users
In response to modeling human behavior, we have developed some software that
merges agents with GIS for simulating recreation behavior in complex
wilderness settings. We examined SWARM as the modeling framework, but to get
a prototype up and running developed our own software in Visual Basic 4.0
running under windows 95. A version of the software referred to as RBSim -
Recreation Behaviour Simulator and is available with enought documenation
from the web:
http://www.dlsr.com.au/software/rbsim
The prototype is currently being written in SWARM by Bohdan Durnota in
Australia.
For more detailed information on the software you can contact with Bob Itami
at the above web site or Randy Gimblett (address@hidden).
