You've got it.  BTW:  It caused a load of errors, see the end of the
message.

Here are a couple things I tried.

1.)  Remove "activity" from the first line of subdirs.  The result is that
it compiled the first two sundirs only.

2.)  Remove the entire first line, so objetcbase is the first entery in
"subdirs".
It goes right into the loop.

I don't think it is an imbeded char because actually erased and retyped
the entries with no apparent effect.

3.)  The only other thing I can think of is that the emacs environment
runs off of the swarm.exe from swarm-1.1.  The only change I could see was
swarm home
 vars.e1 and I changed that from 1.1->1.2, but that didn't help.
