Not having installed swarm-1.2 (and now that 1.3 is here,
I never will!), I don't know what the problem is.
However, I thought I'd remind you that amoung drone's many
control switches are ones to change how parameters are specified.
For example, you app can choose to use -D (or -D: or D= or X= or P:
or ... ) or any other prefix to denote parameters.
And if need be, you can write a little "wrapper" script
and have that act as an interface between drone and your app.
