another Swarm CDROM question

Hi,
  something strange I've come across when using Swarm direct from the CDROM
under Windows NT, which I hope someone can explain. After compiling my
program, if I try and run it from bash, bash responds with "command not
found". However if I run it through GDB then it executes perfectly.
