If it's anything like RedHat, *backend* support for ObjC is included in
the gcc 2.7.2.x package, not *frontend* support, which you need as well.
The description in the RedHat gcc 2.7.2.3 RPM is a bit confusing that way,
and it might be so in the Debian package as well.
