Start >> Settings >> Taskbar >> Advanced

Look for your swarm startup in the Explorer (e.g. under Programs >> Swarm >>
terminal)
and right-click it to get its properties. From the properties window, select the
Layout
tab. Set the Screen Buffer Size Height to the number of lines you want saved.
You'll
get a scroll bar if it is more than the window size.

The scroll bar is a pain in the a. because when you haven't used up all the
lines in
the buffer, the bottom of the scroll bar is not the last entry you made, as you
might
expect. Instead, it is the last N blank lines of the as yet unused screen
buffer.
If, as I do, you like to save quite a few lines, you can end up spending rather
a long time hunting for the current command prompt.
