Perhaps it is some subtle ABI incompatibility between glibc 2.1 and
preinstalled libraries.  Were your Tcl/Tk/BLT/Swarm shared libraries
upgraded at that time as well?  In the Swarm case, are you now
using Paul's newer RPMs?  (Not that this would be an explanation
of the trace you provide, though..)
