Ah, ok, my recollection was that you were using a much older system.
Did you upgrade this system from the older system and leave some 
/usr/local stuff behind?

I'm aware of another problem with tk8.0.5 that tcl8.0p2 doesn't have
with Swarm 1.4.1, so I'm reluctant to change the files in needed-software
until the next release.
