Installing Swarm on Windows NT with Cygwin 1.0

Hello,

I installed Cygwin 1.0 from CD and tested the installation, everything
seemed to work as expected. Then I tried to install Swarm. The Swarm
installation stopped, showing an error message: 'Can't find Cygwin!

This is my first exposure to Cygwin AND Swarm. Any hints what I should do to
get the installlation right?
