Thanks - these are the results. If I've run nm correctly, it looks
like the problem might be there, but I'm not sure how to interpret
it. Maybe the problem was in my gcc installation?
->Is libgcc.a not in /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/mips-sgi-irix6.5/2.95.1?

->Is that path the same as reported by "gcc -print-libgcc-file-name"?

->Is libgcc.a intact, i.e. can you run, say "nm" on it?
