Thanks for helping the beginner.  I spent some time yesterday fussing with
NT4.0, restarting jbuilder3, rebooting my system (thrashing is the term
that comes to mind).  I still couldn't get jheatbugs or my simple program
to run.   So I went home after work, loaded everything on my home Windows
2000 system, followed your directions, and by golly jheatbugs ran like a
champ.  So I had renewed hope.

I came back to work this morning, cleaned up the mess I created yesterday,
and jheatbugs is now running.  My simple program still isn't working but I
think I need to do a little more reading and looking at other peoples code.
