The Swarm makefiles (after 1.3.1) default to telling the compiler
(gcc) to be very strict about potential programming mistakes. The
EXTRAOBJCFLAGS variable is one of the Swarm makefile variables that
can be added to tell the compiler other things, such as "lighten up".
