Re: Speed decrease between 2.0 and 2.1?

When I compare the heatbugs batch program under Swarm 2.0 and 2.1, I see
a speedup of almost 25%.  If you are doing the comparison on your
program, would you please satisfy my curiosity and tell what the time
for "heatbugs -b" is in the 2 versions?

I have no idea why you would see a slowdown, but if the slowdown does
not affect heatbugs and it does affect your code, I think that would be
interesting.

If you want to send me your code in a tar.gz email attachment, I could
run it here on this P-166 "dinosaur" and see if I get the slowdown you
do.

Because enough people have asked about profiling or had trouble with it,
I have just now inserted item
