i am sorry this is getting a bit recursive, but i am back to the unresolved
symbol stuff again.
somehow regxpcom (which used to complain about this matter) gets my
LD_LIBRARY_PATH right,
which simply is 
$(HOME)/mozilla/dist/bin:$(HOME)/mozilla/dist/bin/components:/usr/lib/swarm
fine, 
but then the COM example called from test.html in mozilla and python code
like the one you just sent, complain about not being able to resolve
_c_initSwarm_version_bugAddress_argCount_args. (which is in
/usr/lib/swarm/libswarm.so
why could that be ?
