Same problems installing Swarm 2.2 |

Since I have the same problem as Bas Amelung on a linux system, I would
like to repeat my question from March 19 (I use objc now, but I still
couldnt figure out how to deal with java apps).
Maybe it gives some of the professionals a hint what is going on:
I used the 2002-04-11 snapshot, gcc3.0 without any patch, TCL/TK 8.3 and
jdk1.4
For objc, EVERYTHING works fine, I can compile and run all the
2.1.1-swarmapps and the heatbugs.
Now my question concerning Java:
I can compile the jheatbugs-2001-03-28 without warnings.
When I run it with
> javaswarm StartHeatbugs
I get
Exception caught: /usr/local/lib/libjavaswarm.so.1.0.0:
/usr/local/lib/libjavaswarm.so.1.0.0: undefined symbol:
_i_ActivityControl__runActivity
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: createBegin
at swarm.SwarmEnvironmentCImpl.createBegin(Native Method)
at swarm.Globals.<clinit>(Globals.java:25)
at StartHeatbugs.main(StartHeatbugs.java:15)
If I call javaswarm withot any arguments it says
_JAVASWARM_LIBPATH="/usr/local/lib::/home/chrischan/bin/j2sdk1.4.0/jre/lib/"
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=":/usr/X11R6/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib:"
CLASSPATH=".:/usr/local/share/swarm/swarm.jar:/usr/local/share/swarm/kawa.jar:/home/chrischan/bin/j2sdk1.4.0/jre/lib/rt.jar:/home/chrischan/prog/java/:./:/home/chrischan/prog/java/thirdparty/"
export _JAVASWARM_LIBPATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH CLASSPATH
$CLASSPATH=/usr/local/share/swarm/swarm.jar
I tried it with jdk1.3.1 and jdk1.4
Any clues?
Thanks
