Hi list,
First, thanks for these tools.
I use the last version (0.7.0) with libungif.
I'm working on OSX 10.3.9.
When using gif2swf on animated gifs, I still get artifacts on some file.
No clue ?!
Doesn't seems to be transparent background issue.
I can't get to find a consistent explanation.
Here are an example :
www.v-i-a.net/download/angry.swf
www.v-i-a.net/download/angry.gif
Could it be a libungif issue ?
Can anyone try in his os to compare the results ?
Here are the version I use :
libungif 4.10 final-3
via:~ via$ gif2swf -V
gif2swf - part of swftools 0.7.0
BTW, when using http://www.lcdf.org/gifsicle/man.html with unoptimize
command switch, the result appear to be better.
Could it be a matter of LZW compression only ?
Thanks by advance.
