O.K. xpdf-3.01.tar.gz isn't available there, but xpdf-3.02.tar.gz did 
the job.

Thanks for the help sofar, but my original problem remains: the attached 
sc script generates the attached movie, screenshot of the movie attached 
too. Sorry if I am getting tedious with this, but ;)
