I posted an updated version of the installer tree at 
http://home.hccnet.nl/h.g.muller/installer.zip .
New compared to the previous one is that it now includes a subdirectory 
Pulsar, which
contains the Pulsar engine. I want to add this engine to the variantist 
profile. It plays
10 variants (FRC, crazyhouse, atomic, losers, giveaway, wildcastle, 
nocastle, 3check,
twokings, normal), all different from the variants Fairy-Max can play 
(except normal).
It adds only 135KB to the zipped install (45KB of which is an opening book 
for normal
chess, which could be dropped).

The only updated files in there are winboard.exe + winboard.ini. This has 
bugfixes for
twokings and losers, contains a menu item for 3checks and great shatranj, 
and animates
explosions in atomic.
