Hi, I was trying to install gnokii on Mac OS X 10.2.3 which uses Darwin 6.6 Kernel (http://developer.apple.com/darwin/). I also have an X11 environment installed (http://www.apple.com/macosx/x11/).

So I started compiling this with the ./configure command, and there’s the output (sorry, it’s a bit long)

Type 'make' for compilation and then 'make install',
'make install-suid', 'make install-strip' or 'make install-ss' to
install gnokii. If you wish to install gnokii sgid gnokii (install-suid or
install-ss) be sure to have 'gnokii' group in your system.

And then when I launch “sudo make install”, it doesn't work.
Apparently there are some problems with gtk
I also have an USB>IrDA adapter on my Mac, but as you can see it hasn’t been detected.

Could you give me any clues concerning the libraries that are missing, or cannot be found, I already have asked on Mac forum, but I didn’t get any answer.

I am very interested in this tool, since Nokia phones are very badly supported on Mac. The only thing is an app that doesn’t even support the extended Address Book I have on my 8310, and you have to pay for it.

And Virtual PC (with Nokia Phone Suite on XP) doesn’t work with the USB-IrDA Adapter.

Thanks for any help

Kurt ;)
