Problem with T310

Hi ,

I have got Sony-eric T310 and I am connecting it with IR port connected
to PC .
I changed the gnokiirc file with 

Port= COM4
Connection=IrDA
Initlength=default
Model=AT-HW


But still we cant get the things running .
It just hangs while writing packet and goes into a loop .
