 This is already implemented in a reasonable way - see message with subject
'[PATCH 2.8.3.dev6] fix for psrcview, PSRCVIEW_NO_ANCHOR_NUMBERING'
posted by me ~ week ago- it contains the patch that will do this - user just
has to set PSRCVIEW_NO_ANCHOR_NUMBERING:TRUE in their lynx.cfg. This 
functionality will be in dev7.
