Follow-up Comment #30, bug #42534 (project octave):
I had the exact same problem in a laptop with dual gpu (Nvdia optimus + intel
hd), forcing Octave to use the nvidia gpu fixed the issue.
So something with fltk and intel gpu's isn't working.
