Follow-up Comment #5, bug #60786 (project octave):
scalars raised to complex matrix powers have the issue too.
There seems to be a bit of code duplication in xpow.cc Would be nice if some
form of templating could be used?
Like ComplexMatrix <float> or EIG <float>/EIG <double> instead of
FloatComplexMatrix and FloatEIG
