I think this is the same bug I am seeing.  I just can't reproduce it
every time.

Using gdb I get:
log entry: [Added 50 articles to homeless.linuxhelp.]
(my-tree.cc:247:add_articles) 50 survived the remove-duplicates and
filter test$

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
