I can imagine it would be pretty worthwhile to have a
good discussion about it for 1.1 :)  I can imagine me
helping out if I could be useful, too, heheh.
  Has anyone examined the thread safety of SDL since
we're trying to call event handling functions and so
on from different threads here?
