The idea of leaving "General Public License" untranslated might be a
good one.  I don't think I can judge that.

Does "attenuata" mean "weaker"?

I chose "lesser" partly because it started with L.  "Weaker" would be
accurate too in substance, but it would be a bad choice because it is
negative in connotation.  Does "attenuata" have a negative connotation
too?  If so, it would not be a good choice.
