Technically, most types of weapons would share the same item template
and only differ in their stats. That means, once we have implemented a
one-handed weapon type, a two-handed weapon type and a ranged weapon
type, we can easily create all the swords, knives, axes, staffs, bows,
crossbows, etc. we want ...

It would make sense, however, to compile a list of items that are
available in DB, with all their stats and restrictions. Then we had a
specification of what items we would need, making the implementation
easier. I'm trying to do the same for the equipment slots and sets
that we should have in DB.
