Have a look at http://ctags.sourceforge.net/ :)
Quite nice with an editor integrating it (vim or nedit, probably emacs)...

Nothing, but if they are hard and long to type it becomes unpleasant to
code - that is, I prefer g_foobar than gFooBar ;)
