Any success so far?  Or are your "reasonable requests" reserved for
the Croatian team?

That is correct -- historically.  But it is also the case that
Croatian is a pretty well-defined term now, linguistically synonymous
with stokavian ijekavian dialect (the "western variant", if you wish
to distinguish it from what's spoken in Bosnia and called Bosnian
these days.)  You can hardly get more precise than that.

If someone starts making translations in kajkavian, you can count on
them being marked as such.

Not in the way you might imagine.  I think it's rude to step into the
area where the language team should have the authority.
