Everytime... everytime I ask these questions I finally figure it out right
after I send. I waited long this time too : ) It seems that a difference in
string handling lead to it getting confused about the initial "(". I
modified the buffer sent to populate and it seems to be working now... I am
on to other more difficult problems... I wonder if they will be related?
