That's what I was alluding to in my ``Geocities'' example. I guess I
don't see what purpose the ``remote profile manager'' serves except
convenience for the user, who might like to access their profile while
away from their home machine. In the convenience case, all one needs
to do is store their profile at a Web site somewhere (which requires
no extra software for the server), encrypted or not as they prefer.
