Yes, precisely.  Well said.  I'm adding this sentence to the
website.

(BTW I think that the explanation in the linking exception text
of what is an "independent module"  isn't very good.  Maybe
we should ask the FSF's legal wordsmiths to provide a better
wording for use in both Classpath and pnetlib.)
