I've been using cdrecord-prodvd-1.11b19-i586-pc-linux-gnu. I upgraded 
the DRU-500A firmware just recently. All others except the 
no-name-cheapo DVD-Rs were burned with the original firmware - I'm not 
sure about the version, 1.0c, perhaps. I now have 1.0f.
