No, I take that back. To fulfill the mustmatch_p parameter, we
must
disable entering a file name in the text field.
I do not follow you. What are the practical consequences of this
for the user?
I don't know, but if some lisp code sets mustmatch to t, it probably expects the returned file name to be an existing file.
