yeah. emacs24-nox under screen here (cygwin), screen-256color as well. mintty 
theme set to solarized, and that website under eww is basically unreadable.

imho, when the terminal reports 256 colors (or emacs runs in GUI mode), website 
rendering should use full available palette, not the base theme colors, because 
this clearly leads to a disaster, especially in case of other-than-default 
theme. that, or avoid trying to be 'fancy, full featured rainbow web browser' 
and just stick to default background per theme and use only those base theme 
colors for text that are guaranteed to be readable. this should be the default, 
imho, because when someone cares about all that fancy css stuff, he surely 
won't be using eww for a web browsing anyway.
