Maybe it's caused by indenting with tabs mixed with spaces, whereas I
use spaces only (indent-tabs-mode is nil) and have set tab-width set to
2 instead of 4 (default).

The real problem (for me) is that I run an untabify function when
saving, so if I save an emms-file with tabs by accident without doing
any modifications, a darcs record will query a lot because of whitespace
differences.
