Hmm, there are some recommended elisp coding conventions, such as
(info "(elisp) Tips").
For the `tab-width' thing, it isn't a problem for people who are
sticking to its default value (most of us do ? ). i don't think it's
very necessary to add additional local variables. Maybe forcer can have
a say on this.
