Please experiment with this:

With a delay computed on nominal SWF speed you'll get video
updated every second, while with 10ms you get it at its own speed.

I'm just saying there are already ways to experiment by just
changing the rcfile (except basing delay on the nominal SWF speed,
which would be a useful enhancement).
