I reproduced it several times, compiling the trunk gnash myself (not
using a compiled prerelease, not using the release branch), on Ubuntu
8.04 LTS Hardy (not 8.10 Intrepid, not 9.04 Jaunty prerelease) on x86
(not x64). I don't think I configured it with XVideo, but I can't
figure out which configure options I actually used ("config.status" no
longer shows the status of configuring).
It looked to me like when it failed, gnash had "grabbed" the X input
stream and then never let go of it. Does it ever do a grab
intentionally? Are we sure it always lets go?
