That's right. I figured doctors may want to use the inner
space to jot down additional notes they deem relevant:

"always mention need for endocarditis prophylaxis to each doctor"

        "Caveat: Cytochrome P 450 deficiency"

etc. Of course, this would be better handled
programmatically (legibility, consistency, ...) but we don't
have that yet.

Ok, this seems to hint at the fact that, indeed, you find it
desirable to add some sort of explanation to "Regimen" *no
matter what is actually seen in that column*. Is that
correct ?

I am fine with a general hint (after all I'm using lots of
tooltips in the GUI). I just wanted to make sure it is fully
known that the explanation is not needed *just* because the
Kirk example did show the unfamiliar-in-parts-of-the-world
1-0-0-0 -- because that will only show up if someone
actively entered it into GNUmed and in all likelihood they
would have entered a format familiar to their patients - or
explained it -- ISDM ...

GNUmed will *not* generate that unfamiliar-to-you format by
itself (I do understand that you find it attractive
nonetheless).
