- clean out scripts/ , or do a make clean
- make   (this ensures that the python scripts that do website

AFAIK, CG 3.10 and CG 5 are up-to-date.  In particular, the
scripts in normal maintenance in CG 5.2 _are_ good.  Those are the
exact commands used to generate the website on lilypond.org, so if
you follow those commands and it looks different, then something
is very weird with your version of python or something like that.

(actually, if you follow the scripts in CG 5.2, then you don't
even need to bother cleaning out scripts/ or doing a make )
