I see your point.

I thought touch-typists (they can type '4' without _looking_ for '4')
prefer not using arrow keys that are far from home position of fingers.
And, for new users, showing all variations at the first group give them
the idea about what they can input.

But, perhaps C-n, etc. work for touch-typists and and the documentation
of input method works for new users.

So, at the moment, I'll adopt your suggestion.

I'd like to avoid a key (i.e. cross) related to a specific religion for
those symbols.  Ummm, let's use "/&&".  We may find some symbols more
suitable for "/&", but "/&&" seems to be ok to use here.
