This is exactly the proposal I sent as the patch you're replying to.
OcitySMap only knows about symbolic names (for layouts: "multi_page",
"plain", etc, for stylesheets: "Default", "MapQuestUs", "MapQuestEu",
etc.) and MapOSMatic knows how to translate those symbolic names into
human-readable strings.

There's no need for this stylesheet-friendly argument: OcitySMap
doesn't use the stylesheet description and it doesn't need it.

I think the stylesheet description strings could be completely removed
from the configuration file. OcitySMap doesn't use them, only
MapOSMatic.
