Please don't do it. It would just start another round of
mldonkey-bashing.

As far as I understand lugdunum wants to distinguish V1 from V2
because V1 ist still hammering(?) servers. This can't be to difficult
to code.

Let's wait for mldonkey and his opinion before releasing any patches.
