Hi,

I'm looking at the translations done until now, and this is what I get:

        cd po
        rm *.gmo
        make monotone.pot-update
        ...
        make MSGMERGE=msgmerge 'MSGMERGE_UPDATE=/usr/bin/msgmerge --update'
        rm -f fr.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o fr.gmo fr.po
        549 translated messages, 133 fuzzy translations, 63 untranslated
messages.
        rm -f ja.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o ja.gmo ja.po
        715 translated messages, 17 fuzzy translations, 13 untranslated
messages.
        rm -f pt_BR.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o pt_BR.gmo
pt_BR.po
        689 translated messages, 22 fuzzy translations, 34 untranslated
messages.
        rm -f sv.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o sv.gmo sv.po
        792 translated messages.
        rm -f it.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o it.gmo it.po
        774 translated messages, 7 fuzzy translations, 11 untranslated messages.
        rm -f de.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o de.gmo de.po
        792 translated messages.
        rm -f es.gmo && /usr/X11R6/bin/msgfmt -c --statistics -o es.gmo es.po
        745 translated messages.

I'm not trying to put anyone to shame, everyone is doing what they
can (you're free to see it as a gentle reminder, though ;-)).

I'm wondering, however, if we should disable the French translation
for now, as it hasn't been worked on at all since September last year,
and is increasingly falling behind. I'm half French, but I have
unfortunately lost my sense of grammar, so my contributions would
probably just make more dammage.

Cheers,
Richard
