Follow-up Comment #18, bug #45509 (project octave): Yes I would still like to address this so it's not a problem. I'd like to see if the --no-line-editing option helps. I'd also like to see if setting the INPUTRC environment variable to /dev/null helps. Even better if you could tell me which particular readline configuration option is doing it.
