Charles et al,

I vaguely remember "back in the day" when Pan used to show the version 
number in the window title bar. I think I also remember when this 
disappeared as well. At the time I didn't think much of it. But it seems 
I still miss having it there.

Any chance this could be put back in, if not in "stable" releases than 
perhaps only in beta's and in cvs? I still change versions often enough 
that I'm never really sure which version I'm running and it would be 
nice to see that "at a glance".
