Hi,

I heard your excellent project at Linux.com and hope your success very.

Well, maybe you know, we free software community in Japan/China/Korea
has a problem about handling PDF since a long time ago.

At this time we need CMap files are controlled by Adobe
corporation, to handle PDFs of these languages.
CMap is a huge table between CID character maps and OpenType/TrueType
encoded character map.
( ftp://ftp.oreilly.com/pub/examples/nutshell/ujip/adobe/ )

For our free software community, the prohibition of any modifications
under Adobe CMap license makes a serious headache.

provided this copyright notice is maintained intact and
that the contents of this file are not altered in any
  way from its original form.
</quote>

Although some Debian guys had already contacted Adobe legal department,
they couldn't get a positive answer. Adobe seem want to continue to
control CMap under themselves and won't change its license anymore.

So, do you have any good idea to solve this issue?
I think you'll meet this problem sooner or later.

Thanks,
