(My puter died so I haven't been able to follow this thread...until now)
I just thot I'd ask: is the overhead of forking...even noticeable??
everytime you type an 'ls' in a shell, yer forking. everytime you pick
your nose under unix yer forking! So, what's the big deal with forking?
